Welcome to my website! I hope you enjoy your stay. Pictures of a few quilts that I've made are scrolling across the top. And, just in case you're wondering, the adorable baby is my grandson, Liam, lying on his "Goodnight, Teddy" quilt. Please look around, and then bookmark my site so that you can come back again. In the future I'll be adding more pictures, tips, free blocks and quilt patterns for purchase.

"Sailing, Sailing"
Download it here!
Sailing, Sailing is a 12" (finished) block which features several 3-dimensional elements. The prairie point waves and the sails are both created by folding fabric squares into triangles.

You will need Adobe Reader to get the block.

Need stabilizer? Tracing paper works great as a stabilizer under machine applique. And it tears away a lot easier than the stuff you buy by the yard. I also cut it into 8 1/2" x 11" sheets and run it through the printer one sheet at a time for paper foundation.

To make cutting and piecing more accurate, spray starch and press the fabric before cutting. To prevent flaking, let the starch sink in for a minute or so before you iron it.
